<br /> An ordinance approving and confirming the assessment ... 41
<br /> and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 273, for the
<br /> improvement of Oakes Avenue from the south line of Twenty-second
<br /> Street to the north line of Hewitt Avenue, by clearing, grubbing,
<br /> grading, paving, construction of sidewalks, curbs, gutters, sewers,
<br /> manholes , catch basins , drains , flush tanks, and other work in
<br /> connection therewith, under Ordinance No. 1437, and levying an
<br /> assessment on account thereof against the several lots, tracts, and
<br /> parcels of land as shown on said roll, fixing a date for the
<br /> issuance of bonds , and providing for the sale of said bonds.
<br /> TIIx CITY OF AVr_'R1i TT DOES ORDAIN:
<br /> Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of
<br /> Local Improvement District No. 273, for the improvement of Oakes
<br /> Avenue from the south line of Twenty-second Street to the north
<br /> line of Hewitt Avenue by clearing, grubbing, grading, paving, con-
<br /> struction of sidewalks, gutters, sewers, manholes, catch basins,
<br /> drains , flush tanks, and other work in connection therewith, under
<br /> Ordinance No. 1437 as the same now stands, be , and the same is
<br /> hereby in all things approved and confirmed.
<br /> Section 2: That each of the lots, tracts, and parcels
<br /> of land, or other property shown on said roll is hereby declared to
<br /> be specially benefited by said improvement in at least the amount
<br /> charged against the same, and that the assessment appearing against
<br /> the same is in proportion to the several assessments appearing upon
<br /> said roll, and there is hereby levied an assessment against each
<br /> lot, tract and parcel of land, and other property appearing upon
<br /> said roll the amount finally charged against the same thereon.
<br /> Section 3: That the to day of 1913, is hereby
<br /> fixed as the date of issuance of the bonds requ red to be issued
<br /> —
