<br /> An ordinance regulating the use of certain parts of certain
<br /> public streets , avenues and other places in the city of
<br /> p ' public
<br /> �'ve.�°ett, providing a penalty for the violation thereof, and declare
<br /> ing an emergency.
<br /> THE CITY OF EVER.ETT DOES ORLAIN:
<br /> Section 1: No person shall, in or upon Hewitt Avenue in
<br /> the city of Everett, between the east line of 4ockefeller Avenue
<br /> and the west line of Rucker Avenue, or upon any public street or
<br /> alley, or other public ;place within one block either north or
<br /> south of Hewitt Avenue, between the points above mentioned, make
<br /> any public address , beat drums , :low horns , or hold any public
<br /> meeting, or expose for sale any goods , ;Tares or merchandise, or
<br /> erect or maintain any booth, stand, or tent for such purposes.
<br /> Section 2: Any person violating any of the provisions of
<br /> this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined in any sum not
<br /> exceeding one hundred ( 100) dollars , or ba inprisrined for not
<br /> more than thirty (30) days.
<br /> Section 3: V)1LAREAS , the above ordinance is necessary for
<br /> the proper regulation of the use of the above named public places,
<br /> en emergency is declared to exist, and this ordinance shall take
<br /> effect upon its passage and publication.
