gTTfT- <br /> wya gi zA<` r � �q4Y s@ .gy „ { 4 S , s K � x� t �� At <br /> n � _ ,t .GA rn ':-A.,.*''- <br /> e v041c4 ; <br /> k <br /> +rt <br /> ORDINANCE No./Z .. <br /> An ordinance providing for the licensing and regulating <br /> of the traffic in intoxicating liquor within the city of Everett, <br /> providing penalties for violation thereof, and repealing all <br /> ordinances in conflict herewith, and declaring an emergency. <br /> THE CITY of EVJ RETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: It shall be unlawful- for any person to sell or <br /> in any manner dispose of or keep for sale intoxicating liquors in <br /> the city of Everett without first obtaining a license therefor in <br /> accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br /> Section 2: License for the sale of intoxicating liquors <br /> in quantities of five gallon or more shall be known as a wholesale <br /> license, provided that a wholesale license shall also entitle the <br /> P' <br /> holder thereof to conduct a family liquor store and to sell intoxi- <br /> cating liquors in bottles or packages containing any quantity less <br /> than five gallon, so long as no part of the same is consumed on the <br /> premises where sold. License for the sale of intoxicating liquors <br /> in quantities of less than five gallon shall be known as a retail <br /> k = license. License for the sale of intoxicating liquors in quantities <br /> of five gallons, more or less, shall be known as a wholesale and <br /> ',h� .t retail license. <br /> r <br /> zi <br /> Section Z: The license fee for a retail license shall <br /> be fifteen hundred ($1✓QQ)_ dollars, per year. The license fee for a <br /> wholesale license shall be eight hundred ($800) dollars per year, <br /> and the license fee for a wholesale and retail license shall be <br /> W nineteen hundred fifty ($1950) dollars �-,er year. <br /> Section 4: The number of licenses granted in the city of <br /> Everett for the sale of intoxicating liquors shall not exceed more <br /> ,.;,-.:,,,,-1:-.; than one (1) for each thousand inhabitants or major fraction thereof, <br /> , .- <br /> within the limits of the city of Everett, as shown by the last state <br /> k � <br /> 4 , <br /> :r S�Yt��� , <br /> : ; C : .. a,, <br /> R s y L' f k r,g € ----- ?. <br />
