j 11;' j ORDINANCE No. 0. 0 An ordinance providing for the improvement of Rockefeller Avenue from the north line of Nineteenth Street to the south line of rr:1-11 on' s 1st Addition, by removal of old lumber, grading to proper grade, • removal of trees , construction of concrete curb, gutter, cement walks , complete drainage system, raking, rolling and seeding of parking strips, making old work conform with new, and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with Resolution iTo. 1788, creating a local improvement district therefor, creating a local improvement district fund there- for, providing that payment for said improvement be made by special assessment on property in said district by mode of 'payment by bonds' THE CITY OF EV.PJ TT DOES ORDAIN: Section I: That Rockefeller Avenue from the north line of Nineteenth street to the south line of Hilton' s First Addition be improved by removal of old lumber, grading to proper grade, removal of trees, construction of .concrete curb, gutter, cement walks , cross walks, complete drainage system, raking, rolling and seeding of parking strips , making old work conform with new, and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, such improve- ment to be made according to the plans and specifications therefor prepared under the direction of the city engineer and now on file in the office of the city engineer, which plans are hereby adopted and approved. Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement , including all necessary and incidental expenses, shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in the assessment district hereafter created in Accordance with law. The city of Everett shall not be liable in any manner for any portion of the cost and expense of such improvement. Section 3: That there is hereby established a local improvement district , to be called Local Improvement DistrictTo.°M
