THE CITY 07 t VERi TT DOES ORDAIN; Section 1: That Section 15 of Ordinance No. 1436 of the city of Everett, entitled "An ordinance fixing the salaries and compensation to be paid to the several officers of the city of Everett and their assistants and the employees of said city, repeal- ing all ordinance and parts of ordinance in conflict herewith, and declaring an emergency, "as amended by ordinance No. 1445 of the city of Everett, be, and the same is hereby amended to read 'as follows: Section 15: That from and after January 1, 1913, the salaries and compensation to be paid to the following named officers of the city of Everett and their assistants is hereby fixed as follows; Chief of the Fire Department, one hundred thirty-three and • thirty-three hundredth's ($133.33) dollars per month; Assistant chief, - one hundred eight and thirty-three hundredths ($108.33) dollars per month; captains , ninety (090) dollars per month each; engineer, ninety (M90) dollars per month; assistant engineers, eighty-five ($85.00) dollars per month each; lieutenants , eighty-five ($85.00) dollars per month each; auto drivers, eighty-five ($85.00) dollars per month each; pipemen for the first year of service shall be classed as third grade pipemen and shall receive seventy ($70) dollars per month each; pipemen for the second year of service shall be classed as second-grade pipemen and shall receive seventy-five ($75) dollars per month each; Pipemen for the third year of service and , thereafter shall be classed as first-grade pipemen, and shall receive
