11 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1W). <br /> An ordinance relating to certain city dock bonds to be <br /> issued pursuant to Ordinance No. 1407 of the city of Everett, <br /> entitled "An ordinance providing for terminating the lease of the <br /> city dock property heretofore made with Coleman & Fogarty and now <br /> held by the City Dock Company, a corporation, for the purchase and <br /> taking over of all the improvements placed on said property by <br /> said company or their assigns, for the construction of an extension <br /> of the wharf, together with additional buildings thereon, for the <br /> issuance of special negotiable bonds to raise revenue with which <br /> to take over and pay for said improvement and said new construction, <br /> together with all necessary engineering expense, creating a city <br /> dock fund, authorizing the service of the necessary notice on the <br /> lessees of said property, and submitting said ordinance to the <br /> qualified voters of said city for ratification or rejection at a <br /> municipal election to be held June 18, A. D. 1912"; providing for <br /> the date and terms and form of said bond, and providing for the <br /> lithographing, printing, issuance and for the sale of said bonds, <br /> and declaring an emergency. <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 1407 of Everett, entitl- <br /> ed as above stated, and passed May 13 , 1912 and approved May 14, <br /> 1912, said ordinance was duly submitted to the qualified electors �---of said city for their ratification or rejection at a general munici- <br /> pal election held on the 18th of June , 1912, and <br /> WHEREAS, said ordinance provided that the city of Everett <br /> * ' should take over and purchase all improvements on that certain real <br /> estate owned by said city and known as the City Dock property, the <br /> purchase price of said improvements to. be determined in the manner <br /> provided by the lease of said city' dock property to Coleman & <br /> Fogarty, and said ordinance further provided for the construction <br /> of an extension to said city dock or wharf, and further provided for <br /> a loan not to exceed sixty-five thousand ($65,000) dollars for the . <br /> purpose of paying for .said improvements and for the construction of t . <br />
