• • f . %• y1 <br /> • • • <br /> ORDINANCE NO. � ( :) ---- <br /> An ordinance amending ordinance No. 437 of the city of <br /> Everett, entitled "An ordinance regulating the licensing of <br /> Auctioneers , hawkers , pawnbrokers , peddlers and canvassers within <br /> the city of Everett, fixing the amount of license to be paid for <br /> each such trade, business or profession, and prescribing the penalty <br /> for violation of said ordinance" , by adding thereto a section to be <br /> designated as Section 14. <br /> THE CITY OF EVERITT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That ordinance No , 437 of the city of Everett, <br /> entitled "An ordinance regulating the licensing of auctioneers, <br /> hawkers , pawnbrokers , peddlers , and canvassers within the city of <br /> Everett, fixl.ng the amount of license to be paid for each such trade, <br /> • <br /> business or profession, and prescribing the penalty for violation <br /> of said ordinance" , be, and the same is hereby amended by adding <br /> thereto a section to be designated as Section 14, said section to <br /> read as follows: <br /> Section 14: That it shall be unlawful for any hawker <br /> or peddler, whether licensed or not, using a wagon or other vehicle <br /> in selling goods, wares and merchandise, to o._cupy any block or <br /> portion thereof on Hewitt Avenue, or any block or portion thereof on <br /> any street within one block of Hewitt Avenue, for a period of time <br /> longer than ten (10) minutes in any two consecutive hours, for the <br /> purpose of selling any goods, wares and merchandise, and it shall be <br /> unlawful for any such hawker or peddler to permit such wagon or <br /> vehicle to remain standing within seventy-five feet of the intersec- <br /> tion of Hewitt Avenue with any other street for the purpose of <br /> selling any-goods wares and merchandise. <br /> "7)' ' 1 ' 44aorV. <br /> Attest <br /> Published A 1 i 1912 <br /> yr s <br /> ('+' e„ seS Z r z �t 3" �rLafrt. 4; <br /> '�, ,. 2 .Sa :waartCitb,..S.wti!'a'k, <br />
