<br /> An ordinance providing for the improvement of the south
<br /> one-half of Forty-first street from the east line of Colby avenue to
<br /> . ,. the west line of Wetmore avenue , by clearing and grubbing, grading
<br /> to proper grade, laying of concrete sidewalks, concrete alley
<br /> crossings , concrete or plank curb, and plank gutter, armoured concrete
<br /> or
<br /> plank returns, plank cross walks , cross drains , tile drains ,
<br /> rolling, , raking and seeding of ,Xaking \ trips , making old work
<br /> ` i conform to new, drainage, gradingg street and alley approaches , and
<br /> all other work in connection therewith, cratin local improvement
<br /> p
<br /> district therefor, creating a local improvement district fund there-
<br /> t , for, and providing that payment for said improvement be made by
<br /> special assessment on property in said district by mode of 'payment
<br /> by ;;onds ' .
<br /> P"P WHEREAS , a majority petition of property owners petition-
<br /> G ing for the above improvement has heretofore been filed with the
<br /> board of public works , and said board has found the things set
<br /> :f 1 forth in said petition to be true, and
<br /> Whereas, said board of public works has filed with the
<br /> city council all data and information in regard to said improvement,
<br /> as is required by law, and
<br /> WHEREAS , the board of public works has recommended to the
<br /> �° citycouncil that said improvement
<br /> .�j p� petitioned for be made, and it
<br /> appearing to the council that public convenience requires that said
<br /> improvement be made,
<br /> x TriREFORE, TH1 CITY OF EVEP.ETT DOES ORDAIN:
<br /> Section 1: That the south one-half of Forty-first street
<br /> from the east line of Colby avenue to the west line of Wetmore avenue
<br /> be improved by clearing and grubbing, grading to proper grade,
<br /> laying of concrete sidewalks , concrete alley crossings , concrete or
<br /> tt plank curb, and plank gutter, armoured concrete or plank returns,
<br /> ' " plank cross walks , cross drains , tile drains , rolling, raking and
<br /> seeding or parking strips , making old work conform to new, drainage,
