AN ORDINANCE requiring all water,gas,telephone, telegraph, railway and light companies and other public service corporations to file with the City Engineer of the City of Everett a chart,or plan showing the location,elevation and size of all mains,service pipes,gates,conduits,valves, meters,poles,manholes,gate-chambers,wires,tracks and ot}b er things used by them and located upon, across,or under any of the streets,avenues,alieys or other public places in the City of Everett and providing a penalty for the vio- lation thereof. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Sec.l THAT the water ,,gas,telephone,telegraph,railway and light companies and other public service corporations are hereby required to file with the City Engineer of the City of Everett a chart or plan showing the location, elevation and size of all mains, service pipes,gates,conduits valve=;s, net er s,poles,manholes,gate-chamber s,wire s,tracks and other things used by them and located upon, across or un- der any of the streets,avenues,alleys or other public places in the City of Everett. S4c.2 That said charts or plans as provided for herein shall be filed within thirty(30 ) days from the passing of this ordinano.e,provided that upon proper showing,the City Council may give any of said. companies thirty(30 ) days addi- tional time within which to file said. charts or plans.. Sec.3 That any company failing to file said charts or plans within the time required herein shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not exceeding One Hundred Dollars( $100.00 )4t ch day that any company fails to comply with any of the provisions of this ordinance shall constitute a separate and distinct offence. dl ,Mayor.- paese '+JUN 41912 Approve . ig17.'
