ORDINANCE NO. 2599-02 AN ORDINANCE approving Addendum No.1 to the Interlocal Agreement between the Everett Public Facilities District and the City of Everett for financing a Regional Special Events Center , amending Ordinance No. 2586-02 WHEREAS,the City and the Everett Public Facilities District entered into an Interlocal Agreement for financing a Regional Special Events Center dated February 11, 2002, which was approved by Ordinance No. 2587-02; and WHEREAS, based upon project cash flow and market interest rates, it is in the best interests of the City and the Everett Pubic Facilities District to amend the Interlocal Agreement between the Everett Public Facilities District and the City of Everett for financing a Regional Special Events Center; and WHEREAS, the amendments to the Interlocal Agreement between the Everett Public Facilities District and the City of Everett for financing a Regional Special Events Center are set forth in Addendum No. 1; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: Ordinance No. 2586-02 is hereby amended by the addition of the following section which reads as follows: Section 4: The terms of Addendum No. 1 to the Interlocal Agreement Between the City of Everett and the Everett Public Facilities District for Financing a Regional Center in substantially the form attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference and on file with the City Clerk are approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute and deliver Addendum No. 1 on behalf of the City, with such changes, if any, as may be approved by the Mayor and City Attorney consistent with the substantial terms and purposes thereof.
