ORDINANCE NO. 3144-09 OP(O%b AN ORDINANCE creating the special construction fund ent - • " A -st Marine Parking Lot", Fund 342, Program 015, authorizing the design and construction of a new parking lot. WHEREAS, the City Council has recognized the need for a new parking lot located under the bridge at 22nd Street and West Marine View Drive. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A special construction fund is hereby established as Fund 342, Program 015 entitled "West Marine Parking Lot" to accumulate the design and construction costs required to construct a new parking lot. Section 2: Authorization is hereby granted to the Facilities/Property Management Director under the administration of the Mayor, to assume full responsibility for conducting all tasks and performing all necessary steps to accomplish the actions authorized by this Ordinance. Section 3: The estimated cost of the project, including costs related to construction, shall be determined at the completion of the construction documents. Section 4: The sum of $80,000.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 342, Program 015 "West Marine Parking Lot". A. Use of Funds Design $ 80,000 Construction 0 Project Costs 0 Total $ 80,000 B. Source of Funds CIP 4 $ 80,000 C. The appropriation shall not lapse, but shall be carried forward from year to year until fully expended or the purpose has been accomplished or abandoned without the necessity of re-appropriation.
