September 12, 2012 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m., September 12, 2012, in the City Council Chambers of the Everett <br /> City Hall, President Gipson presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Moore, Hatloe, <br /> Gipson, Burke, and Affholter were present. Council Member Stonecipher <br /> was excused. <br /> Deputy City Attorney David Hall led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the September 5, 2012, Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson had no comments. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts, in response to a recent visit to the Twin Rivers <br /> Neighborhood, raised the question concerning future review of irregular <br /> boundaries that pose service challenges for first responders. <br /> Council Member Burke encouraged everyone to drive by the new Everett <br /> Community College Health Sciences building. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Deputy City Attorney Hall had no comments. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Dorian Kostelyk, Everett, expressed a concern about unsafe streets in the <br /> Delta Neighborhood surrounding the Baker Heights facility due to a lack of <br /> sidewalks in the area. <br /> 256 <br />
