November 28, 2012 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 12:30 p.m., November 28, 2012 in the City Council Chambers of the <br /> Everett City Hall, Council Vice President Moore presiding. <br /> OATH OF OFFICE <br /> Superior Court Judge Joseph Wilson administered the oath of office to <br /> Scott Bader, new council member. <br /> Upon roll call it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members <br /> Moore, Hatloe, Bader, Stonecipher and Affholter were present. Council <br /> Members Roberts and Gipson were excused. <br /> CAA Debra Bryant led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the November 21, 2012 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. Council Member Bader abstained from the vote. <br /> Vice President Moore spoke regarding the passing of former Council <br /> Member Dale Pope. He announced that there will be a service held at <br /> Grace Lutheran Church on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. A moment of silence <br /> was held in his honor. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson added his condolences to the Pope family. The Mayor <br /> welcomed Scott Bader to the city council. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> The council members also expressed their condolences on the passing of <br /> former Council Member Pope, and welcomed Scott Bader to the city <br /> council. <br /> Council Member Hatloe read a letter addressed to Council President <br /> Gipson announcing his resignation effective December 31, 2012 and <br /> 329 <br />
