RESOLUTION NO 614 3 A RESOLUTION Concerning the 2009 Action Plan and Repealing Resolution No. 6127 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett recognized the need for certain housing and community development programs in Everett; and WHEREAS, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds have been made available through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development to provide for those programs and Everett is entitled to receive $928,507.00 for 2009; and WHEREAS, through Interlocal Agreement, the City of Everett will receive HOME funds this year in the amount of$479,323.00; and. WHEREAS, the Citizens Advisory Committee for Housing and Community Development has studied the housing and community development needs and priorities of Everett and has made its recommendation; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett has reviewed the recommendations from the above committee; and WHEREAS, the 2009 Action Plan has been written in cooperation with the Everett Housing Authority and other non profit service providers and they were provided the direction given by the City Council if additional funding were received; and WHEREAS, since the adoption of Resolution No. 6127, the funding for the various activities have been amended; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT THAT: 1.
