Resolution No. 5819 <br /> A Resolution accepting the 10 percent petition <br /> and authorizing submittal of the 75 percent petition <br /> for the 21st Street Annexation <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett has received a 10 percent petition and Notice of <br /> Intention to Annex meeting the requirements of RCW 35.13.125, <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett has a desire to work with property owners <br /> around Everett, in unincorporated Snohomish County, who wish to become part <br /> of the City, and <br /> WHEREAS, the area proposed for annexation (see attached Exhibit A) is within <br /> the Urban Growth Boundary established by Snohomish County. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> 1. The City of Everett wishes to accept the 10 percent petition for the <br /> proposed annexation and authorize signature collection for the 75% <br /> petition. <br /> 2. The City of Everett will require the simultaneous implementation of the <br /> Comprehensive Plan designation by adoption of the implementing zoning <br /> for the annexation area. <br /> 3.
