CITY OF EVERETT <br /> CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. 5681 <br /> A Resolution of the Everett City Council expressing support <br /> for the submittal of grant for a market study and draft design <br /> standards to help implement the Comprehensive Plan <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett has the opportunity to apply for State of Washington Grant funds to help <br /> implement the recently adopted Comprehensive Plan, and <br /> WHEREAS,the Comprehensive Plan calls for a market study to review the housing market for target <br /> areas within Everett, and <br /> WHEREAS,the Comprehensive Plan calls for housing design standards to implement the market study <br /> for target areas within Everett,and <br /> WHEREAS,the Everett City Council finds: <br /> 1. The redevelopment of Everett using market analysis and design standards is a desirable project. <br /> 2. The goals of the City of Everett include creating an improved neighborhood character, <br /> provide for a variety of housing choices including market rate for sale housing, and the <br /> integration of rental and ownership opportunities are very worthwhile. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT THAT: <br /> 1. The City Council recognizes the need to do a market study and draft design standards for the <br /> neighborhoods north and south of the downtown. <br /> 2.
