RESOLUTION NO. 5491 A RESOLUTION for the proposed vacation of Mt. View Lane, East of South Broadway, West of Interstate 5, and North of the confluence of Beverly Boulevard and South Broadway WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the front footage abutting the alley, described as follows: That portion of the Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 8, Township 28 North, Range 5 East, W.M.,described as follows: BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of said section; THENCE, South 88°07'22"East along the South line of said section a distance of 14.17 feet to intersect the Easterly margin of South Broadway(aka Broadway Cutoff, aka Highway 2-J); THENCE, North 20°59'01" East along said Easterly right of way line a distance of 554.56 to the TRUE POINT of BEGINNING; THENCE, South 69°00'59" East a distance of 170.00 feet to intersect the Westerly right of way margin of Interstate Highway 5; THENCE, North 29°59'01" East along said Westerly right of way line of said 1-5 a distance of 40.00 feet; THENCE, North 69°00'01" West a distance of 170.00 feet to intersect the Easterly right of way line of South Broadway; THENCE, South 20°59'01" West a distance of 40.00 feet to the TRUE POINT of BEGINNING. and shown on the attached sketch, have petitioned for the vacation of said rights of way and ; WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79.010 provides that City Council shall, by resolution, fix a date for public hearing on said petition; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT that a public hearing be set for July 14, 2004 at 8:30a.m. in the City Council Chambers, Old City Hall Building, at 3002 Wetmore Avenue, to consider the proposed vacation of the rights-of-way as herein described.
