EVERETT CITY COUNCIL PRELIMINARY AGENDA <br /> 8:30 A.M., WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2006 <br /> CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> Roll Call <br /> Pledge of Allegiance <br /> Approval of Minutes: October 18, 2006 <br /> Mayor's Comments <br /> Council <br /> City Attorney <br /> Citizen Comments <br /> CONSENT ITEMS <br /> (1) Adopt Resolution # authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount <br /> of $2,557,253.63 for the period of October 7, 2006 through October 13, 2006 <br /> (2) Adopt Resolution # authorizing electronic transfer claims against the City of <br /> Everett in the amount of $3,735,150.99 for the period of September 1, 2006 <br /> through September 30, 2006 <br /> (3) To approve the closure of various streets for the 2006 Puget Sound Festival of <br /> Bands on October 28, 2006, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., sponsored by the Cascade High <br /> School Band Boosters with the following conditions: each point where a street is <br /> closed, a volunteer will man the post and will be in appropriate safety wear during <br /> the entire event; and the designated crossing point for the bands at 38th and <br /> Broadway will have four certified flaggers to ensure the safe passage of the bands <br /> and pedestrians. In lieu of certified flaggers, two uniformed police officers may be <br /> used <br /> (4) Accept the Water Main "H" Replacement Project as complete and Authorize the <br /> Mayor to sign the Certificate of Completion with DD] Construction Inc. releasing <br /> retainage in the amount of $24,055.06 <br /> ACTION ITEMS: (to be considered individually) <br /> (5) Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 8 to the Department of Ecology <br /> Remedial Action Grant for the Everett Landfill <br /> (6) Authorize the Mayor to sign Intergovernmental Agreement #2006-WF-AX-0076 with <br /> Washington State CTED for the STOP Violence Against Women Formula Grant <br /> Program <br /> AGENDA CONTINUED ON THE BACK OF THIS PAGE <br />
