. . <br /> .., <br /> lot: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4810 <br /> A RESOLUTION for waiving the public bidding requirements and for <br /> the sole source purchase from Polaroid through Washington <br /> Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs for Polaroid Domestic <br /> Violence Documentation Kits . <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett Police Department is the lead agency in a <br /> Services, Training, Officers and Prosecutors (STOP) grant that <br /> will disseminate Polaroid Domestic Violence Documentation Kits to <br /> 22 law enforcement agencies and a number of service providers in <br /> Snohomish County; and <br /> WHEREAS, Polaroid Corporation has offered special pricing of $155 <br /> per kit as their commitment to the resolution of domestic <br /> violence issues; and <br /> WHEREAS, each kit includes one spectra instant camera, one light <br /> lock close-up lens, one copy stand, one padded carrying case, one <br /> 35mm autofocus camera, and four hours of training; and <br /> WHEREAS, a similar kit without the 35mm camera or training was <br /> competitively bid and awarded at a price of $214 per kit. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT that special market conditions legitimately limit this <br /> purchase to a single source .
