Resolution Number 4807 <br /> A Resolution accepting the 10 percent petition <br /> and authorizing submittal of the 75 percent petition <br /> for the Magelssen Annexation Area <br /> WHEREAS, The City of Everett has received a 10 percent petition for annexation <br /> meeting the requirements of RCW 35.13.125. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett has a desire to work with citizens around Everett in <br /> unincorporated Snohomish County to become part of the City of Everett, and <br /> WHEREAS, the area proposed for annexation is within the Urban Growth Boundary <br /> established by Snohomish County. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> 1. The City of Everett wishes to accept the 10 percent petition for the proposed <br /> annexation and authorize the signature collection for the 75%petition. <br /> 2. The City of Everett will require the simultaneous implementation of the <br /> Comprehensive Plan designation by adoption of the zoning for the annexation <br /> area. <br /> 3.
