RESOLUTION # 4797 <br /> A RESOLUTION in memory of former Everett City Council member Stewart G. "Stew" <br /> Aldcroft, who died Saturday, August 21, 1999. <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council wishes to recognize the warmth and <br /> compassion of this long time resident of the City of Everett as well as recognize the <br /> dedication to the citizens of Everett shown by "Stew" Aldcroft who was nominated as <br /> Citizen of the Year twice because of that devotion to the City of Everett; and <br /> WHEREAS, it should be known to all that Stewart G. "Stew" Aldcroft was a <br /> member of the Everett City Council from 1971 until 1983, and coached several youth <br /> sports eventually organizing the Washington State Babe Ruth All Star Tournament in <br /> Everett; and <br /> WHEREAS, "Stew" Aldcroft was known as a strong leader in our community <br /> being involved in several organizations to numerous to mention all the while giving 110 <br /> percent of himself to the community he loved so dearly; and <br /> WHEREAS, the passing of Stewart G. Aldcroft has deeply saddened his friends, <br /> family and co-workers and shall never be forgotten; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, the Everett City Council resolve that the passion, commitment, <br /> devotion and contribution of Stewart G. Aldcroft, shall be recognized and remembered, <br /> and join in the family and friends of the Everett City Council and the citizens of City of <br /> Everett, in mourning the loss. <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED this 25th day of August 1999. <br /> I-.
