�/E/FETT <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4789 <br /> A RESOLUTION for waiving the public bidding requirements and for the sole source purchase from <br /> Impact Solutions Corporation both direct and through Snohomish County for Xpediter laptop reporting <br /> software licenses. <br /> WHEREAS, Snohomish County is the lead agency in a Community Oriented Policing (COPS) MORE <br /> grant; and <br /> WHEREAS, the laptop reporting committee has investigated all possible options for the purchase of <br /> laptop reporting software and determined there is justification to sole source the purchase of this item; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Snohomish County Council did adopt such sole source resolution by motion 99-168; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of Community Oriented Policing has also authorized the sole source justification <br /> for the purchase of laptop reporting software; and <br /> WHEREAS, Snohomish County Purchasing has been authorized to issue a purchase order to Impact <br /> Solutions that will include 148 licenses for the City of Everett; and <br /> WHEREAS, in order to fully implement this program it will be necessary for the City of Everett to <br /> purchase 33 additional licenses direct from Impact Solutions Corporation, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT <br /> that pursuant to RCW 35.23.352(9), the City hereby waives the requirement of calling for public bids for <br /> the acquisition of 181 laptop reporting software licenses from Impact Solutions Corporation. <br /> ounce person Introducing esolution <br /> PASSED and Approved this 28th day of July , 1999. <br /> ounci 'resident <br />
