RESOLUTION NO. 4763 <br /> A RESOLUTION for waiving the public bidding requirements for the sole source purchase from <br /> Corona Solutions of"Staff Wizard" software. <br /> WHEREAS, the Police Department requires computer software for their staff operations; and <br /> WHEREAS, after searching for vendors of police operations software, Corona Solutions was <br /> discovered to offer the only software that is compatible with the proprietary software associated <br /> with the SnoPac dispatch center's PRC Computer Aided Dispatch and Records Management <br /> System; and <br /> WHEREAS, the funds are available in our budget, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT that the purchase of"Staff Wizard" software for the Police Department is clearly and <br /> legitimately limited to a single source, and that the Purchasing Division is authorized to purchase <br /> software and continuing maintenance as long as we use this software.
