' <br /> 011114/..ma <br /> loggil <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4749 <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing application for 1999 <br /> Community Development Block Grant Funds to the <br /> Department of Housing and Urban Development <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett recognized the need for certain housing <br /> and community development programs in Everett; and <br /> WHEREAS, funds have been made available through the Department of Housing and Urban <br /> Development to provide for those programs and Everett is entitled to receive $932,000.00 in <br /> 1999; and <br /> WHEREAS, unspent funds in the amount of funds are available to reallocate to other programs <br /> this year, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Citizens Advisory Committee for Housing and Community Development has <br /> studied the housing and community development needs and priorities of Everett and has made <br /> its recommendations for 1999 Community Development Block Grant funds; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett has reviewed the recommendations of the <br /> above committee; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT THAT: <br /> I. Projects to be Funded in 1999 <br /> Public Service Funding <br /> 1. Volunteers of America $12,000.00 <br /> Family and Children's Services <br /> 2. Volunteers of America $12,000.00 <br /> Rental Housing Mediation Service <br /> 3. Center for Battered Women $20,000.00 <br /> Domestic Violence Services <br /> 4. Campfire $1,500.00 <br /> Campships <br /> 5. Community Health Center $16,500.00 <br /> Primary Medical and Dental Care <br />
