411/ 7Ey_ Tr <br /> ,„ <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2254-97 <br /> AN ORDINANCE establishing metered service for newly constructed <br /> single-family residences and conversion of flat rate to metered service for businesses, and <br /> repealing Ordinance No. 1794-91. <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> SECTION 1: Fixed Rate Service. <br /> Newly constructed single-family unit dwellings connecting to the Everett Water System after July <br /> 1, 1991, shall have metered service. Existing fixed rate accounts converting to metered service <br /> shall continue as metered accounts on or after the date of conversion. Single-unit dwellings which <br /> are used or occupied in part by an office, commercial enterprise or home occupations shall be <br /> required to convert to metered service. A meter will not be required when the business use of a <br /> single-family home does not result in a change in the primary use as a residence, and there will not <br /> be an increase in water consumption as determined by the Public Works Director. <br /> SECTION 2: <br /> Ordinance No. 1794-91 is hereby repealed. <br /> /41 <br /> EDW:.'.e D.
