• <br /> • <br /> ORDINANCE NO dat9—'9 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett <br /> as provided by Ordinance No. 1671-89 as amended (Title 19, EMC) <br /> to encompass an area south of 116th Street SE and west of Ruggs Loop Road <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that on February 18, 1997 the Planning <br /> Commission held a public hearing regarding establishment of the zoning designation <br /> for the herein described land area annexed to the city; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, after hearing the Planning Commission <br /> recommendation, agrees with the Planning Commission and determines that said <br /> property should be zoned R-1, (Single Family Detached Low Density); <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN THAT: <br /> Section 1: Zoning <br /> That the City Council accepts the Planning Commission recommendation that the R- <br /> 1 zoning for the annexation meets the purpose of the Comprehensive Plan as <br /> affirmed by Ordinance No. 2161-96 . <br /> Section 2: Legal Description <br /> That the Zoning Map of that portion of the City of Everett described below, is hereby <br /> amended by zoning the annexed area R-1, as established by Section 4 of Ordinance <br /> No. 1671-89, as amended (Title 19, Everett Municipal Code),. <br /> All that portion of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 29, <br /> Township 28 North, Range 5 East, W.M.; described as follows: <br /> 1 <br />
