t <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2153-96 <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled <br /> "1996 Everett Preservation Projects", Fund 303, Program 017, <br /> to accumulate all construction costs for the improvement <br /> project. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to a planned City-wide overlay program in <br /> conjunction with a pavement management system to effectively preserve the City street system; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett has received approval for the utilization of Federal funds for <br /> nine street preservation projects on Federal-aid streets in the City of Everett; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 017, entitled "1996 <br /> Everett Preservation Projects" to accumulate all costs for the improvement project. <br /> Section 2: <br /> Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, <br /> Program 017, for construction of the improvement project. <br /> Section 3: <br /> Authorization is hereby granted for the "Engineering/Public Services Director", under <br /> direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and <br /> doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: <br /> The sum of $390,900.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 017, "1996 Everett <br /> Preservation Projects" as follows: <br /> A.Estimated Project Costs <br /> Construction $ 390,900 <br /> Total Estimated Cost $ 390,900 <br /> B. Source of Funds <br /> STP (Federal) Preservation Projects $ 253,000 <br /> Fund 119 - Street Improvements $ 137,900 <br /> Total Estimated Funds $ 390,900 <br />
