EVERETT ORDINANCE NO. 2116-95 AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 1542-88 which established a special fund entitled Fire Station Construction Fund No. 341, Program 989, as amended by Ordinance Nos. 1825-91, 1852-92 and 1890-92. WHEREAS, the City Council has recognized the need for additional fire stations within the City of Everett; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1542-88 as amended by Ordinance Nos. 1825-91, 1852-92 and 1890-92 were established to fund the construction of Fire Stations No. 2, 4 and 7; and WHEREAS, final financing costs for Fire Station Nos. 2 & 4 have exceeded original budget; and WHEREAS, the city council approved the Silver Lake Park Master Plan to include Fire Station No. 7; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: SECTION 1: A special construction fund is hereby established as Fund No. 341, Program 989-Fire Station No. 2, Program 443-Fire Station No. 4 and Program 494-Fire Station No. 7. SECTION 2: Authorization is hereby granted to the Facilities/Property Management Director under the administration of the Mayor to assume full responsibility for conducting all tasks and performing all necessary steps to accomplish the actions authorized by this ordinance. SECTION 3: Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1542-88 as amended by Ordinance Nos. 1825- 91, 1852-92, and 1890-92 which reads as follows: A. The sum of$4,981,771 is hereby appropriated to Fund 341, Program Nos. 989, 443 and 494. B. This appropriation shall not lapse, but shall be carried forward from year to year until fully expended or the purpose has been accomplished or abandoned without the necessity of reappropriation as per RCW 35.33.151.
