EVERETT CITY COUNCIL PRELIMINARY AGENDA 8:30 A.M., WEDNESDAY, MARCH 5, 2008 CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS Roll Call Pledge of Allegiance Approval of Minutes: February 27, 2008 Mayor's Comments Council - Due to council members attending National League of Cities, the council meeting of March 12, 2008 has been moved to Friday, March 14, 2008 beginning at 830 a.m. City Attorney Citizen Comments CONSENT ITEMS: (1) Adopt Resolution No. authorizing claims against the city of Everett in the amount of $4,126,953.70 for the period of February 16, 2008 through February 22, 2008 (2) Adopt Resolution No. authorizing payroll claims against the city of Everett in the amount of $3,096,599.20 for the period ending February 16, 2008 (3) Adopt Resolution No. authorizing electronic transfers against the city of Everett in the amount of $ 4,836,789.66 for the period of January 1, 2008 through January 31, 2008 ACTION ITEMS: (to be considered individually) (4) Award Bid for Senior Center Activity Center-Exterior Building Renovation to TCM General Construction, Inc. in the amount of $497,931.00 (5) Authorize the Mayor to sign the Professional Services Agreement with Murray, Smith and Associates for the North Creek Low Flow Augmentation Project, Phase 3 in the amount of $72,676.00 (6) Authorize the Mayor to sign a Professional Services Agreement with Northwest Corrosion Engineering for engineering services not to exceed $25,000 (7) Authorize the Mayor to sign the Professional Services Agreement with Brown and Caldwell to design a by-pass from the primary sedimentation tank at the Water Pollution Control Facility in the amount of $39,906.
