ORDINANCE NO. 2069-95 <br /> AN ORDINANCE revising the Board of Review and amending <br /> Section 1 of Ordinance No. 351-75 (EMC 16.64.020) <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: Section 1 of Ordinance No. 351-75 (EMC 16.64.020) which reads as <br /> follows: Membership - Rules and Regulations - The Board shall consist of <br /> seven members who are qualified to pass upon matters pertaining to the <br /> codes and ordinances set forth in Section 16.64.010. The department <br /> head who has the responsibility regarding the particular code under <br /> consideration by the board shall be an ex officio member of the board <br /> and shall act as secretary of the board. The members of the board shall <br /> be appointed by the mayor and shall hold office for four year staggered <br /> terms. The board shall adopt reasonable rules and regulations for <br /> conducting its investigations and shall render all decisions and findings <br /> in writting to the appropriate department head responsible for the code <br /> under consideration with a duplicate copy to the appellant, and the board <br /> may recommend to the city council such new legislation as is consistent <br /> therewith. <br /> be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Section 1: Membership - Rules and Regulations - The board shall consist of <br /> seven members who are qualified to pass upon matters pertaining to the <br /> codes and ordinances set forth in Section 16.64.010.
