• <br /> ELIdgETT <br /> Ordinance No. 2052-95 <br /> An Ordinance Amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett as Provided by Ordinance No. <br /> 1671-89 by Rezoning an Three Areas in the City to Implement <br /> the Land Use Map of the Everett Growth Management Comprehensive Plan. <br /> WHEREAS,the Everett City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2021-94 on August 3, 1994, <br /> adopting the Everett Growth Management Comprehensive Plan in accordance with the <br /> requirements of the Washington Growth Management Act; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Growth Management Act requires that the City's Zoning Map as established by <br /> Ordinance No. 1671-89 be consistent with the Land Use Map of the Growth Management <br /> Comprehensive Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City notified owners of property within the proposed rezone areas and <br /> surrounding property owners of public hearings to discuss the proposed rezoning of various parts <br /> of the city; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held public hearings on March 21, 1995, at which they <br /> listened to public testimony, reviewed correspondence, and deliberated upon each rezone <br /> proposal; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed rezone is consistent with the Everett <br /> Comprehensive Plan; bears a substantial relation to the public health, safety and welfare; and <br /> promotes the best long term interests of the Everett community. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br />
