• <br /> 101V---A <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2025-94 vadEL/EJZETT <br /> AN ORDINANCE annexing certain property located <br /> in the Lake Chaplain watershed area six miles <br /> north of the Town of Sultan, Snohomish County. <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to R.C.W. 35.13.125, a petition was presented to the City Council <br /> proposing the annexation of certain City owned property; and <br /> WHEREAS, the petition which was filed pursuant to R.C.W. 35.13.125 was signed by <br /> the Mayor of the City of Everett as required; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council did fix July 6, 1994, for a hearing upon said petition, and <br /> caused proper notice of the hearing to be provided; and <br /> WHEREAS, following the hearing the City Council determined to annex all of the <br /> property described in the petition; and <br /> WHEREAS, no request for review of the annexation by the Snohomish County <br /> Boundary Review Board was filed within the designated 45-day review period; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council did hold a public hearing on the annexation and did <br /> provide notice to property owners included within the area proposed for annexation; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it desires to annex the property to the City; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the property hereinafter described, be, and the same is hereby <br /> annexed to the City of Everett: <br /> BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of Section 36, Township 29 North, Range 7 <br /> East, W.M.; THENCE, East along the South section line of said section to the <br /> Northwest corner of the East half of the Northeast quarter of Section 1, <br /> Township 28 North, Range 7 East; THENCE, South along the West line of said <br /> subdivision of said section to the Southwest corner thereof; THENCE, East <br /> along the East/West center-section line of said section, and continuing East <br /> along the East/West center-section line of Section 6, Township 28 North, Range <br /> 8 East to the Southeast corner of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter <br /> of said section; THENCE, North along the East line of said subdivision of said <br /> section to the Northeast corner thereof; THENCE, West along the North line of <br /> said subdivision of said section to the Northwest corner thereof; THENCE, North <br /> along the East line of Section 1, Township 28 North, Range 7 East to the <br />
