ORDINANCE NO. 2014-94 <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled "1994 <br /> Everett Preservation Projects", Fund 303, Program 005, to <br /> accumulate all construction costs for the improvement project. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to a planned City-wide street overlay program in <br /> conjunction with a pavement management system to effectively preserve the City street system; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett has received approval for the utilization of Federal funds for four <br /> street preservation projects on Federal-aid streets in the City of Everett; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 005, entitled "1994 <br /> Everett Preservation Projects" to accumulate all costs for the improvement project. <br /> Section 2: <br /> Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, Program <br /> 005, for construction of the improvement project. <br /> Section 3: <br /> Authorization is hereby granted for the "Engineering/Public Services Director", under direction of the <br /> Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to <br /> accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: <br /> The sum of $127,167.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 005, "1994 Everett <br /> Preservation Projects" as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs <br /> Construction $127,167 <br /> Total Estimated Cost $127,167 <br /> B. Source of Funds <br /> STP (Federal) Preservation Projects $ 97,838 <br /> Fund 157 - Traffic Mitigation $ 11,531 <br /> Fund 119 - Street Improvements $ 17,798 <br /> Total Estimated Funds $127,167 <br /> C. This appropriation shall not lapse, but shall be carried forward from year to year until fully <br /> expended or the purpose has been accomplished or abandoned without the necessity of <br /> reappropriation. <br />
