9,1111P,4 4,0w, ev.0 z <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4561 <br /> An Amendment to the Emergency Resolution on the <br /> Effluent Pipeline Replacement Project <br /> authorizing an increase of$100,000. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett on June 25, 1997, by Resolution No. 4450 declared an <br /> emergency to provide for the necessary purchasing of materials and hiring of contractors <br /> to complete the Effluent Improvements Pipe Replacement Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett amended Resolution No. 4450 on July 23, 1997, by the <br /> adoption of Resolution No. 4468 to grant additional contracting authority; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett amended Resolution No. 4450 and 4468 on October 22, <br /> 1997, by the adoption of Resolution No. 4496 to grant additional contracting authority; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Public Works Department now has completed all work associated with <br /> the completion of the Effluent Improvements Pipe Replacement Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, the use of the force-account approach to accomplish this emergency work <br /> because of the unknown nature of portions of the work did not allow determination of <br /> final project costs until the work was completed; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has tabulated the final costs associated with <br /> the project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Everett that the <br /> maximum authorized amount in said Resolution No 4450, 4468 and 4496 is hereby <br /> amended to One Million Fifty Thousand Dollars ($1,050,000). <br /> �,►. <br /> ONCIL MEMBER INyODUCING RESOLUTION <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 25th DAY of February ,1998 <br /> RANK ANDERSON, COUNCIL DENT <br />
