Resolution Number 4530 <br /> A Resolution accepting the 75 percent petition <br /> for the 108th St. area annexation. <br /> WHEREAS, property owners within the annexation area have requested to be annexed <br /> into the City of Everett, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett has approved the gathering of signatures for the 75 <br /> percent petition for annexation meeting the requirements of RCW 35.13.125, and <br /> WHEREAS, the annexation proponent hasgathered property owner signatures and <br /> submitted the required 75 percent petition to the City, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett has a desire to work with the property owners in a <br /> cooperative and supportive manner to become part of the City of Everett, and <br /> WHEREAS, the 75 percent petition has been submitted to the Snohomish County <br /> Auditors Office where the petition was certified as sufficient, and <br /> WHEREAS, the area proposed for annexation is within the Urban Growth Boundary <br /> area established by Snohomish County, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council held a public hearing on December 17, 1997, to <br /> hear public comment on the request for annexation. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> 1. The City of Everett wishes to accept the 75 percent petition for the proposed <br /> annexation. <br /> 2. The City of Everett will require the simultaneous implementation of the <br /> Comprehensive Plan designation by adoption of the zoning for the annexation area. <br /> 3.
