May 27, 2015 <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br />12:30 p.m., May 27, 2015 in the City Council Chambers of the William E. <br />Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Bader presiding. Upon roll call <br />it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, <br />Moore, Murphy, Gipson, Bader, and Tuohy were present. Council <br />Member Stonecipher was excused. <br />Council Member Moore led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />The minutes of the May 20, 2015 City Council meeting were approved as <br />printed. Council Member Roberts abstained from the vote. <br />MAYOR <br />Mayor Stephanson had no comments. <br />COUNCIL <br />Council Member Tuohy reported on her attendance at the Historical <br />Commission meeting last night. <br />Council Member Roberts stated that the Sound Transit Board will be <br />looking at the different alignment options for a Sound Transit 3 package <br />tomorrow. He thanked Mayor Stephanson and the staff for their <br />continued support for this important piece of business. He advised that <br />Sound Transit announced that they are continuing to move toward the <br />opening of the University of Washington station in 2016. <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br />The City Attorney had no comments. <br />CAA/CFO Debra Bryant made several announcements: the retirement of <br />Tam Moen, Deputy City Clerk, and an introduction to her replacement, <br />Anna Pankevich; the retirement of Carlton Gipson, Facilities and Property <br />153 <br />
