luire <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4437 <br /> A RESOLUTION accepting a gift of from the <br /> Everett Senior Center Advisory Board. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett owns and operates the Everett Senior Center; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council has included funds for improvements to the <br /> kitchen facilities in the 1997 budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett Senior Center Advisory Board has offered a donation to <br /> assist with the kitchen remodeling project; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the citizens of Everett and patrons of the <br /> Everett Senior Center that these improvements are completed in a timely <br /> manner. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT <br /> The Everett City Council gratefully accepts the donation of $15,000 from <br /> the Everett Senior Center Advisory Board to be used exclusively for the Senior <br /> Center kitchen remodeling project with the following provisos: <br /> • That the Advisory Board be furnished with complete drawings of the <br /> proposed project; <br /> • That the Advisory Board be furnished with at leaset three bids covering the <br /> total cost of the project; <br /> • That the city will pay costs of the project in excess of the $15,000 donation <br /> provided by the Advisory Board; and <br /> • That funds of the Advisory Board will not be accepted unless the balance of <br /> the funds necessary are identified and available for the project from city or <br /> other non-Advisory Board funds. <br /> ouncilmember In educing Resolution <br /> Passed and Approved this ?Rrh day of May , 1997. <br /> ouncil President <br />
