RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION of the City of Everett, Washington, authorizing the sole source <br /> purchase of a traffic signal central computer system from Intersection <br /> Development Corporation. <br /> WHEREAS, the Traffic Division of Engineering/Public Services has standardized on multisonics traffic <br /> equipment; and <br /> WHEREAS, our traffic signal central computer system has become outdated and needs to be replaced and <br /> upgraded; and <br /> WHEREAS, multisonics controllers and software are copyrighted by Intersection Development Corporation; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Intersection Development Corporation is therefore the only company that can supply a traffic <br /> signal central computer; and <br /> WHEREAS, it would be undesirable and cost prohibitive to replace all of our multisonics traffic controllers; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, federal grant funds are available to replace and upgrade our traffic signal central computer <br /> system; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF EVERETT that <br /> the Purchasing Division is authorized to purchase a traffic signal = • 'trol system directly from <br /> Intersection Development Corporation. <br /> Councilperson Introducing Resolution <br /> tt <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this t/ day of el./ , 1996. <br /> pgfA1/1114-.02e <br /> Council President <br /> (GL:jcl/Resols.doc(2) <br />
