RESOLUTION NO. 4196 <br /> A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Everett, <br /> Washington, declaring its intention to order the <br /> construction of standard street improvements on <br /> Evergreen Way from 108th Street SW to 112th <br /> Street SW, and 112th Street SW and to create a <br /> local improvement district to be known as Local <br /> Improvement District No. 734, to assess a part of <br /> the cost and expense of carrying out those <br /> improvements against the properties specially <br /> benefited thereby, and notifying all persons who <br /> desire to object to the improvements to appear and <br /> present their objections at a hearing before the City <br /> Council to be held on December 13, 1995. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF EVERETT, <br /> Section 1: <br /> It is the intention of the City Council of the City of Everett, Washington, to order the <br /> improvement of the properties within the area described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and by <br /> this reference made a part hereof, by the construction of standard street improvements on <br /> Evergreen Way from 108th Street SW to 112th Street SW and 112th Street SW as further <br /> described in Exhibit B attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> All of the foregoing improvements shall be in accordance with the plans and <br /> specifications therefor prepared by the City Engineer and may be modified by the City as long <br /> as that modification does not affect the purpose of the improvements. <br /> Section 2: <br /> The total estimated cost and expense of the improvements is declared to be $545,450. It is <br /> anticipated that approximately $293,030 of that cost and expense shall be paid by the City and <br /> from anticipated state grants and the balance thereof shall be borne by and assessed against the <br /> property specially benefited by the improvements in the area to be known as Local Improvement <br /> District No. 734. Actual assessments may vary from estimated assessments as long as they do <br /> not exceed a figure equal to the increased true and fair value the improvements add to the <br /> property. <br /> 0210651.01 <br />
