ORDINANCE NO. 2869-05 AN ORDINANCE amending and closing the special construction fund entitled "Downtown Police Headquarters — Second Floor West Wing Remodel", Fund 342, Program 008, as established by Ordinance No. 2749- 04. WHEREAS, the City Council recognized the need to remodel the Police Headquarters Building located at 3002 Wetmore; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2749-04 created the special construction project entitled "Downtown Police Headquarters — Second Floor West Wing Remodel", Fund 342, Program 008 to provide for the design and construction costs required to construct alterations to existing Police Headquarters; and WHEREAS, additional funding is necessary to complete the construction of Downtown Police Headquarters — Second Floor Remodel; and WHEREAS, with the additional funding provided by this Ordinance, the purpose of the fund has been accomplished; and WHEREAS, there are neither outstanding obligations of the fund to be paid nor uncollected revenues to be received; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: Section 3 of Ordinance No. 2749-04 which reads as follows: The estimated cost of the project is $248,000 including costs related to design, construction, equipment, and contract administration. Be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: The estimated cost of the project is $370,982 including costs related to design, construction, equipment, and contract administration. Section 2: Section 4 of Ordinance No. 2749-04, which reads as follows:
