t ORDINANCE NO. 2878-05 AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled "Senior Center Improvements", Fund 342, Program 010, to accumulate all costs for the improvement project. WHEREAS, the City Council has recognized the need to make improvements at the Senior Center, located at 3025 Lombard; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 342, Program 010, entitled "Senior Center Improvements" to accumulate the costs required to make certain improvements at the Senior Center. Section 2: Authorization is hereby granted to the Facilities/Property Management Director under the administration of the Mayor, to assume full responsibility for conducting all tasks and performing all necessary steps to accomplish the actions authorized by this Ordinance. Section 3: The estimated cost of the project is $200,000 including costs related to design, cost estimates, repairs, upgrades, equipment, and contract administration. Section 4: The sum of $200,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 342 "City Facilities Construction Fund" Program 010 "Senior Center Improvements." A. Estimated Project Costs Conceptual Design and Cost Est. $ 25,000 Repairs and Upgrades $175,000 Total Estimated Costs $200,000 B. Source of Funds CIP 4 $200,000 Total Estimated Funds $200,000 C. The appropriation shall not lapse, but shall be carried forward from year to year until fully expended or the purpose has been accomplished or abandoned without the necessity of re -appropriation.
