v`-w <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> 3754 E 1JFETT <br /> A RESOLUTION establishing new parking time limits <br /> east of the Downtown Core area. <br /> WHEREAS, EMC 46.08.050 authorizes the City Council to establish parking time <br /> limits on city streets; and <br /> WHEREAS, Council Resolution 3748 requires the City Traffic Engineer to prepare <br /> plans to alleviate the effects on adjoining neighborhoods of time limit restrictions in the <br /> Downtown Core; and <br /> WHEREAS, uniformly established time limits are more efficiently enforced; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT THAT: <br /> 1) The City Council establishes a parking time limit of two (2) hours from 8:00 a.m. <br /> to 6:00 p.m., except Sundays and holidays, on the following city streets: <br /> a) California Street, east of the alley in the 1600 block to Broadway. <br /> b) Between Everett Avenue and California Street: <br /> - Oakes Avenue <br /> - Lombard Avenue <br /> 2) The City Council establishes a parking time limit of sixty minutes from 8:00 a.m. <br /> to 6:00 p.m., except Sundays and holidays on the following city streets: <br /> a) Between Rockefeller Avenue and Broadway: <br /> - Hewitt Avenue <br /> - Wall Street <br /> - Pacific Avenue <br /> b) Between California Street and Pacific Avenue: <br /> - Oakes Avenue <br /> - Lombard Avenue <br /> 3) The City Council restablishes existing thirty minute parking spaces in the affected <br /> blocks. <br />
