401IV • <br /> • <br /> EVERETT <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1939-93 <br /> AN ORDINANCE regarding bond requirements or faithful <br /> performance/fidelity insurance coverage for City <br /> of Everett officers and employees for the faithful <br /> performance of their duties, repealing Ordinance <br /> No. 3324 of the City of Everett. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that faithful <br /> performance/fidelity insurance coverage constitutes a "like bond" <br /> as required under Section 4 . 11 of the City Charter; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: Pursuant to Sections 4 . 11 and 14 . 5 of the City <br /> Charter, the Mayor, in consultation with the Budget and Finance <br /> Director, is authorized to establish bond requirements for City <br /> officers and employees or to satisfy bond requirements through <br /> the acquisition of faithful performance/fidelity insurance <br /> (public employee dishonesty coverage) for City officers and <br /> employees. <br /> Section 2 : Ordinance No. 3324 of the City of Everett shall be <br /> superseded and repealed as to all matters contained herein from <br /> and after the date of the adoption - ordinance. <br /> , Ma or <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Oil .
