August 5, 2015 <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br />p.m., August 5, 2015, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. <br />Moore Historic City Hall, President Bader presiding. Upon roll call, it was <br />found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Moore, <br />Murphy, Gipson, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. <br />Council Member Moore led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />The minutes of the July 29, 2015, City Council meeting were approved as <br />printed. Council Member Roberts abstained from the vote. <br />MAYOR <br />Mayor Stephanson had no comments. <br />COUNCIL <br />Council Members Roberts, Stonecipher, and Bader commended all those <br />involved in the great Night Out Against Crime events that were held in the <br />various neighborhoods last night. <br />Council Member Roberts commented that he participated in a fire training, <br />which was held in the fire safety house trailer at the Evergreen Branch <br />Library. <br />Council Member Murphy stated that he, along with Council Members <br />Roberts and Tuohy, attended a tilt party for a new project that's being <br />developed at the Everett Industrial Park at Seaway Center by Underwood <br />Gartland. <br />Council Member Tuohy gave a shout -out to the Everett Farmer's Market, <br />which has been ranked seventh in the nation for their discounts to low <br />income, women's and children's programs, help to consumers, and fresh <br />produce. <br />232 <br />
