EVERETT CITY COUNCIL PRELIMINARY AGENDA 6:30 P.M., WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2012 CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS Roll Call Pledge of Allegiance Approval of Minutes: October 24, 2012 Mayor's Comments Council Comments City Attorney Citizen Comments BRIEFING: (1) CB 1210-48 — 1st Reading — Adopt the Proposed Ordinance establishing rates for Everett sewer service and surface water management, rates for water and filtration for inside and outside City customers, rates for wholesale master meters, and repealing Ordinance Nos. 3096-08 (EMC 14.04.020) and 3156-09 (EMC 14.16.710-13) (3rd and final reading and public hearing on 11-14-12) CONSENT ITEMS: (2) Adopt Resolution No. authorizing electronic transfer claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $4,554,487.89 for the period September 1, 2012 through September 30, 2012 (3) Adopt Resolution No. authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $1,568,835.63 for the period of October 13, 2012 through October 19, 2012 (4) Authorize the closure of Colby Avenue, 24th to 25th Street, on November 11, 2012, 4:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for an Annual Food Drive sponsored by Everett High School with the condition that Everett High School personnel be on site to provide immediate access for emergency vehicles in the event of an emergency PUBLIC HEARING: (5) CB 1210-47 — 3rd and final Reading — Adopt the Proposed Ordinance levying the general taxes for the City of Everett for fiscal year commencing January 1, 2013, on all taxable property, both real and personal, subject to taxation thereon, for the purpose of raising a portion of the revenue to carry on City operations for the ensuing year, as required by the charter of the City of Everett and the laws of the State of Washington (6) Adopt Resolution to change Everett Transit's fixed route fares effective January 1, 2013 AGENDA CONTINUED ON BACK OF THIS PAGE
