Resolution No. 6207 OP"la <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing Everett Transit filer <br /> to offer an unlimited monthly pass fare for <br /> paratransit services; and <br /> WHEREAS, Everett Transit continues to provide paratransit service to qualified <br /> customers; and <br /> WHEREAS, Everett Transit Paratransit customers have expressed the need for an <br /> unlimited ride monthly pass; and <br /> WHEREAS, Everett Transit has calculated that a reasonable price for the paratransit <br /> monthly pass would be the paratransit cash fare multiplied by thirty-six (36) one way <br /> trips (i.e., fare x 36 =monthly pass price); and <br /> WHEREAS, this monthly pass price will be dependent upon the cash fare authorized by <br /> the City Council for paratransit services; and <br /> WHEREAS, this pricing calculation is consistent with other paratransit service providers <br /> in the region; and <br /> WHEREAS, this monthly pass will be valid from the first day of each month to the last <br /> day of each month; and <br /> WHEREAS, paratransit customers affected by this resolution will be offered a fare <br /> benefit by this proposed action; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT: <br /> Effective January 1, 2010, Everett Paratransit services will offer an unlimited ride <br /> monthly pass priced at the equivalent of thirty-six 36) one-way trips. <br /> Councilperso noducing Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this 99th day of November, 2009. <br /> City Council President <br />
