0111W <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 62191:-7 h, 0-J: L'4, I i <br /> A RESOLUTION declaring the City's intent to accept a <br /> gift from the Estate of Versa Lou Van Zandt in the amount of $110,132.15 <br /> bequeathed to The Carl Gipson Senior Center of Everett <br /> WHEREAS, the Estate of Versa Lou Van Zandt has made a specific distribution through <br /> her Last Will and Testament to the Carl Gipson Senior Center of Everett; and <br /> WHEREAS, the amount of the distribution is $110,132.15; and <br /> WHEREAS, the $110,132.15 bequest has been transmitted to the City via an Estate of <br /> Versa Lou Van Zandt, Dianne Klem personal representative check in the sum of <br /> $110,132.15; and <br /> WHEREAS, EMC 2.105.020 grants the Mayor authority to conditionally accept gifts of <br /> personal property and the Mayor does recommend acceptance of this gift of personal <br /> property from the Estate of Versa Lou Van Zandt; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT that the City of Everett accepts the gift of $110,132.15 from the Estate of <br /> Versa Lou Van Zandt for use by The Carl Gipson Senior Center of Everett in the normal <br /> course of their duties. <br /> ,i _____ <br /> Council Member Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED this 16th day of December, 2009. <br /> ,..X ,e7/21-/-r7,-, <br /> Council P siderit <br />
