• RESOLUTION NO 6 2 6 2 A RESOLUTION concerning 2010 Community Development Block Grant Annual Action Plan and 2010-2014 Consolidated Plan WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett recognized the need for certain housing and community development programs in Everett; and WHEREAS, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds have been made available through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development to provide for those programs and Everett is entitled to receive $1,002,301.00 for 2010; and WHEREAS, through Interlocal agreements, the City of Everett will receive HOME funds and 2060 Housing Trust funds from Snohomish County this year; and. WHEREAS, the Citizens Advisory Committee for Housing and Community Development has studied the housing and community development needs and priorities of Everett and has made its recommendations for 2010 CDBG funds; 2010 HOME funds; and 2010 2060 Housing Trust funds; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett has reviewed the recommendations from the above committee; and WHEREAS, the 2010-2014 Consolidated Plan and 2010 Action Plan have been written in cooperation with the Everett Housing Authority, Snohomish County and local non-profit service providers; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT THAT: 1. Projects to be funded in 2010 CDBG Entitlement 2010 Public Service Projects Recommend Advocates for the Rights of Citizens (CDBG) Community Housing $12,000.00 Assistance League (CDBG) Operation School Bell $12,500.00 Camp Fire (CDBG) $7,000.00 Camp Scholarship Assistance Catholic Community Services (CDBG) Volunteer Transportation $5,000.00 Domestic Violence Services (CDBG) $16,000.00 Everett Family YMCA (CDBG) Day Care $15,000.00 Deaconess Children's Services (CDBG) IMPACT $12,000.00 Community Health Center(CDBG) Primary Health Care $20,000.00 Imagine Children's Museum (CDBG) $5,000.00 Imaginate Program
