RESOLUTION NO. 6 3 0 5 <br /> A RESOLUTION declaring the listed vehicles and equipment surplus and authorizing <br /> their disposition. <br /> WHEREAS,the City replaced the Cummins 400KW Generator as part of a construction <br /> project at Reservoir 6; and <br /> WHEREAS,the above-referenced generator is no longer of value or use to the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance 2963-06 establishes a procedure and methods for surplusing or <br /> disposition of City-owned personal property; and <br /> WHEREAS, based on the guidelines set forth in Section 2 of Ordinance 2963-06, a <br /> public auction is the disposition method that best meets the City's interests; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City's purchasing manager has reported the basis for the estimated <br /> value of the surplus property and has recommended surplusing the above-referenced <br /> vehicles and equipment by public auction; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Everett City Council: <br /> 1. The Reservoir 6 400KW Cummins Generator is no longer of value or use to the City <br /> and therefore is declared surplus personal property; and <br /> 2.
