RESOLUTION NO. 6319 <br /> A RESOLUTION declaring the City's intent to accept a <br /> gift from KIRO radio in the amount of$5,000 <br /> for ballfield operations and improvements. <br /> WHEREAS, KIRO radio has made a Specific Distribution to the Everett Parks & Recreation <br /> Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, the amount of the Distribution is $5,000 and <br /> WHEREAS, the $5,000 donation has been transmitted to the City via a check in the sum of$5,000; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, EMC 2.105.020 grants the Mayor authority to conditionally accept gifts of personal <br /> property and the Mayor does recommend acceptance of this gift of personal property from KIRO <br /> radio; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT that the City of Everett accepts the gift of $5,000 from,KIR°radko for use by the <br /> Everett Parks & Recreation Department for ballfield operations and improvements. l <br /> r <br /> .....N '.( (4— <br /> i uncil Person Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED this 20 day of October , 2010. <br /> - _..__ (1 a, J �C t,�� C -- <br /> 0 Council PreCid•nt <br />
